It was a moving and informative night - and I'm thrilled to have managed to record the presentations to share them here. There was another 'Republican' candidate event occurring this evening so we felt it appropriate to video these presenters so that more folks can enjoy their messages.
The night opened with Renee Jones, the Lifewise Director giving a
Lifewise Academy Upate
None of this would have been possible without the late Debra Winbush, who answered the call years ago when our Leadership first introduced LifeWise Academy as an opportunity to bring this wonderful program into our local public schools — and without the generous financial support so many of you provided to get it off the ground.
After nearly a year of searching and prayer by the Steering Committee, God provided Renee Jones as our Director. Many, many thanks to each of you!
Now — get ready for goosebumps! The excitement, gratitude, and anticipation of what this ministry can bring to Jackson-Madison County Schools is real. As more children and families come to understand the love of Jesus, the impact will be extraordinary.
The time to get involved is now — whether through financial support, volunteering, or simply lifting this work up in prayer. Seek God about how He might be calling you to be a part. Read below and click HERE to take action.

Patriot Academy News from Union University young Patriot: Riley Huynh
Riley has attended Leadership Congress — a program for young people ages 16–25 — for the past two years, and it has truly ignited his passion to serve our country through politics. This year, in addition to his studies, a part-time job, and working for Rep. Chris Todd in Nashville, he is hoping to attend again — and would be grateful for both financial support and your prayers to make it possible.
Watch young Riley Huynh's presentation.
Riley shared a video about this wonderful opportunity that is now ALSO available to adults. Click on the link below to watch videos for 16-25 year olds; veterans and also Patriot Academy Coaches

Despite my (Londa's) best intentions, I forgot to play the video about the upcoming NEW class from Patriot Academy for the 250th: REBUILDING LIBERTY.

THEN... as if we hadn't had enough goose-bump content for the evening already,
Bolivar Mayor Julian McTizic
shared from his heart about his upbringing, why he is a young black Republican, his thoughts on politics and representing the people, and answering our many questions. Though certainly not professional, I taped this hour+ on my phone. It is WELL worth a watch - especially, if, like myself and husband, you are in the 'finger area of Jackson that is District 80 and not Chris Todd's District 73!
This is what leadership looks like. Strong. Principled. Faithful. If our halls of government were filled with men and women of this caliber and character, I truly believe our Founders would be proud of the republic they sacrificed so much to build.
Just as occurred over Rep. Monty Fritts' sharing with us in March as a TN Governor candidate, we gathered laid hands on Mayor McTizic and Riley as strong young men seeking to serve God and country as we prayed together.
